Mask update!

Evolve Mask Update, Please Read!

Unfortunately we received word from the county that they have changed the requirement for mask use in gyms. The county now requires everyone to wear masks at all times while in the gym including during workouts. This is obviously disappointing for all of us. 

We understand that many of you are not going to workout with masks on. There will be stations with stall mats set up outside the gym that will be available to you to workout at either during the coached workouts or during open gym. There is no mask requirement outside as long as social distance standards are met so this is our solution for now. If you’re working out outside, please stay to the sides of the parking lot so we don’t impact the mechanics and their ability to move cars. We’ll also ask that you guys park in the front lot rather than the side so we have plenty of room for activities! We’ll evaluate this as we go and will certainly make some changes to make the outside option better as we go forward. During Open Gym times, if you are the only person there masks are not required inside. If it’s you and members from your household during open gym, masks are also not required. Having 24 hour access will hopefully provide some other options for you if needed.
We know this is not ideal but 2020 hasn’t been ideal at all so are we surprised by this? Probably not. If anything, look at this as a way to build aerobic capacity. Just think about how easy workouts will be when you don’t have to wear a mask!
