50 toes-through-rings

The toes-through-rings are the same concept as toes-to-bar only, you guessed it, you are on rings and your toes break the plane of the ring!

Dustin
Dustin putting his fitness to the test during our climb of Longs on Wednesday. As you can see from the picture, conditions were not ideal and we had to turn back at the Keyhole because of snow which kind of sucked. But, we lived so that's good!

The picture above is a great example of our folks putting the fitness they've worked so hard for in here to use out there. As summer comes to a close in Colorado, we've had some great things to celebrate at Evolve. Of course there are all the accomplishments inside the box which we celebrate with the daily board, the PR board, etc. But there was a lot you guys accomplished outside of the box. Marathons were run, CF competitions were entered – some for their first time, the Evolve Team started together and finished together at the Tough Mudder, mountains were climbed, triathlons completed, and numerous other accomplishments were had.

As fun as the WODs are (they are totally fun, don't shake your head "no"), what you do with it out there is just as important. So as the summer wraps up, celebrate what you've accompished and come up with some new goals to take you through the winter and into next year! If you have something that you rocked this year, or even better, if you know of something one of your Evolve buddies accomplished, post it to comments!

  1. I just finished a 26-hour solo mountain hike this week. SNAP! This sounds like something the marines would do! The first 8 hours were fun, the second 10 hours were all adrenaline, and the last 8 hours were hell.
I was backpacking in the Rawah Wilderness with a bunch of friends, and when they went fishing one day I did some exploring on the peaks alone. And didn’t make it back to camp that night. Oops.
“Strong people are hard to kill” I told the moose and bears as I walked around lost all night. I hiked myself out another (very long) way just in time for SAR to stand down.
I gotta say, I feel stronger than ever! I don’t think my friends appreciate this, as they were pretty stressed – but I know you guys will! Now, if I could just do box jumps.
Hey, does this count for the PR board?
