Strict Pull-ups

Another gem from CrossFit Football. For the strict pull-ups, if you’re unable to do all the reps, get in as many quality reps as you can, then switch to one of the options the coaches give you. Kipping pull-ups won’t be one of the options for today.

No one’s done until everyone’s done!

As you may know, our good friends Taylor and Blake run Steve’s Club Battle Ready here in Northern Colorado. They’re a fanstastic organization with an important mission. Each year they host their Beat the Streets fundraiser which we’re always happy to be a part off. This year the fundraiser is at Big Thompson CrossFit in Loveland on September 27th. Please consider being a part of it! From Taylor:

In the last year, with all of the support from the community we were able to expand our program to include a second location, Mountain States Children’s Home in Longmont. This location serves about 20 teens that get CrossFit Training 1-3 times per week.
This year we are having our Beat the Streets Fundraiser on September 27th at 11:00 at Big Thompson CrossFit, which is one of our coaches new gym.
The WOD will be the same fun format as the past. The WOD  is appropriate for all ages 7 or 8+  and abilities. There will be an RX Division and a Social Division with t-Shirts and Prizes. This will be a partner WOD which can be a combination of adults, kids or adults and a child. The RX Division is suggested for any of our CrossFit teens or Adults and the Social Division will be for Families and smaller kids. Suggested donation is $25 per person on the day of the event but it is free to sign up for the event on our webpage SC-BR.org.
