Changes To The Blog!

10+ years ago when we opened the gym, we received a lot of guidance from some great mentors who were established in the CrossFit community. One of the things we were told was that utilizing a blog to share information with our gym community would be a game changer. Remember that Facebook was barely a thing and there was no Instagram, Twitter, or SugarWOD. Blogs were the shit! We took it to heart and every weekday we posted content. Sometimes it was about the workout, sometimes it was about the community, sometimes we shared an article or a recipe, sometimes it was to inspire, sometimes it was to encourage. But everyday we posted something for our peeps.

Some changes to the platform that we us to run crossfit-evolve.com has given us the opportunity to reimagine how we communicate with you through the website. You’ve probably noticed that the daily posts look a little different. We’re fine tuning things look and will have the new format dialed in soon. But we’re also going to change up the way we’re sharing things with you.

The daily workout will continue to be posted here. We think it’s important to give you a few different options to see what the daily workout is. We also believe that when new athletes are looking at gyms, being able to see the workouts is a big deal. However, we won’t be posting daily content any longer. Our social media accounts are on point and that is the way the vast majority of our members are staying connected with us. But I really like to write and that medium isn’t good for that. So for all you OGs who are able to take in information in greater than 15 second snippets, we will soon have a separate blog page. This will be where we communicate in long form with you. For the 3 of you who read the posts every night, we will still be putting out things we feel important. When something new is posted we’ll let you know though our social media channels.

Lo is teasing me because even though I know this is a good change, I’m a little sentimental about the daily blog going away. That being said, I know that without the pressure of posting something every.single.friggin.day when something is put up on the blog, it’s going to be worth the read.

  1. As someone who will always call Evolve home, even though I don’t participate in workouts there anymore, I still read your post every single day. It’s been 6 years, and I’m still doing it!! Keep it up JMac. I’m always one of the 3 and I’ll always call Evolve home!
