Team Purple!
Teamwork On A Thursday?! How Neat!
Teamwork during the week is kind of a nice surprise! Today you guys are going to get into teams of 3 and see how much work you can complete before the 25-minute time cap. You can split the reps however you want but only one athlete will be working at a time. Each team will have two bars, one for bench and one for deadlifts. The weight will increase but the reps stay the same. Since you are in teams of 3, you will have twice as much rest, so, when it is your turn, move quickly knowing you have a decent amount of rest coming up. A good strategy to ensure you are moving quickly through the movements is to switch before getting fatigued. When the barbell is light, think about switching every 8-12 reps, as the weight gets heavier, lessen the number of reps to 6-8 and when the barbell is at the heaviest weight, 3-5 reps will be best. With the bike, breaking it up into sets of 7-10 calories might be best depending on you and your team. Communication will be key in keeping track of how many reps were done and how many more are needed to complete the rep count. Talk with your teammates often to avoid any confusion. Have fun with this one guys!
