The 2019 CrossFit Open. Again.
As you may or may not know, the second Open for 2019 begins on October 10th. The changes to the CrossFit Games and how athletes qualify for the games required a change. From here on (or until they decide the change again!) the Open will be in October. So luck us we get to do TWO Opens in 2019!
Here are the things you need to know about the Open at Evolve:
You should really consider doing it. It’s not often you get to participate in a competition with the entire world! Plus it’s fun. Plus, see below!
Our daily workout on Fridays during the Open will be that weeks Open workout. You’ll be doing the Open even if you don’t sign up. So you might as well sign up!
We won’t be hosting any other official Open days. If you sign up for the Open and miss all of the workouts on Friday, you can hit the Open Gym on Saturday morning at 10am or Monday morning at 11am.
The Open is a wonderful time for the worldwide CrossFit community, and especially great at Evolve. It’s a time for us to come together, make each Friday feel like the in-house comp, and throw down some workouts with a couple hundred thousand other CrossFitters across the globe. We hope you’ll get registered and experience this great event first hand. Hit us up with questions and we’ll see you for the first workout on October 11th.
