Miss May: Lex!!!

May Athlete of the Month: Lex!!

Miss May is Lex! She came to us 2 years ago with already quite a bit of CrossFit experience under her belt. I will never forget talking with her when she started and her telling me how she really wanted to be coached and was excited to get feedback from us. Those are the very best athletes – those who are open to our input. Right away we knew Lex would be awesome to have in the gym and we were right! She’s always smiling and ready to get to work, and that rubs off on those around her. And I will tell you one thing I’ve noticed about Lex during her 2 years here….she’s ALWAYS engaged and listening during the workout briefing (we notice Lex!!!). That means a lot to the coaches! Whether she’s rocking grad school, crushing WODs or working on her weightlifting skills, she’s an example of how putting in the work and being consistent pays off.
