3 Position Snatches.

Today’s strength work has you getting in some quality technique time. Although you’ll be recording the weights, that number is not your priority. Performing a technically solid power snatch from each of the three positions is the goal. If that means staying light to make that happen, then so be it!

The three positions for today are:

Position 1: High Hang (think pockets)

Position 2: Mid thigh. This will be between the high hang and you knees. 

Position 3: From the floor. 

With the 3 position snatch the bar won’t be dropped until the 3 power snatches are complete. Again, the goal is technique improvement not weight on the bar so this will also keep things on the light side for you. We’ll go over this in detail during today’s briefing and we’ll give you some points of performance to keep in mind. This is a fun one to kick off your week, we’ll see you in there!
