The Goal of Today’s DT/Cindy Mash-Up

Who remembers this one from last April?! Two classic CrossFit workouts come together for a great Monday! Not sure if you should go RX today? Here are some considerations. The load on the bar should allow for the first round of DT to be done in 1:30 or less. If you’re looking at the weight and thinking you’re going to have to break it up a ton, consider scaling the weight down. You don’t need to be unbroken but you need to be fast. 

For Cindy, the goal should be unbroken throughout. If you need a quick break during pull-ups or push-ups, that’s fine, but you guys should be flying through this. Again, if you think that there will be multiple breaks throughout, consider scaling the reps back. We’ll provide some rep suggestions tomorrow.

Overall faster times will be 12:00-15:00, and we’ve put a 20:00 cap on this one. We’ll provide suggestions for scaling reps and loads tomorrow, but in the meantime think about how you have approached both DT and Cindy in the past to help you figure out how to tackle today. Your coaches will be ready to help you too!
