December Athlete of the Month: Ben R!
Mr. December is Ben R! If you don’t go to the 6pm WOD you may have never met Ben, but we wish you had! This dude comes in and straight up gets after it every single session. And always with a smile on his face! One of the things that I’ve noticed about Ben after the last few years is that the nastier the WOD is, the more he likes it. It’s true. He loves that stuff, and it makes him happy, which makes us happy too! He has the genetic mutation that allows him to enjoy the suck. Couple that with his great attitude and he can change the whole feeling of the gym just by coming in and doing his thing. And we really appreciate that!

A plate turnover is when you rock from a hollow position, and catch yourself on 45# plates with locked arms.
