Back to Business!
Hey, remember when there used to be some words written here? Well the words are back! Thank you guys for your patience the last couple of weeks. I need to say a couple of thank you’s publicly because some really great things happened.
First to the coaches, thank you guys so much for handling things while I was gone. This deployment came very quickly and we were told at 9:30 pm that we would be leaving at 6am, which doesn’t leave a lot of time to get things squared away. Like always, they told me not to worry about it and they handled all the things that needed handled, which included ridiculously long days of coaching and running intros. I’m grateful to our coaches and it is indescribable to be able to focus on the task at hand without a worry that everything at home and at the gym would be taken care of. Thank you guys.
And I have to give a thank you to Katie, who was left with an iPhone video on how to create the blog posts and a “hey, so I need you to post the workouts to the website while I’m gone” as I walked out the door. I told her the bright side was that she didn’t need to type any content, but I don’t think that made it any easier! She did a really good job and you guys knew what the WOD was for the day, so perfect! Maybe this will be a new job for her! Thanks K!
OK, that’s it. Back to business as usual. I will see you in there!
