What’s The Point?
It’s very easy to get sucked in to the nuances of how we train. Percentages, active recovery, mobility, nutrition, etc. This is all good stuff. Paying attention to the details will pay off, and we want you to do that. But we also want you to keep in mind that in order for your fitness, and really your overall wellness, to be sustainable, it has to be fun. Fun is a relative term, and we know that what we consider “fun” in the gym the average person views as some sort of torture or punishment! But that’s for another post. You know what we’re getting at.
We love to revisit the quote below regularly. At some point this will be hung on our wall, it’s been one of those things that we’ve wanted to do but have yet to pull off. Keep working hard, keep paying attention to the details, keep pushing forward with all you have and giving your all. But while you’re at it, remember to have a little fun!
