Sometimes getting what we’re after means putting in some straight up work. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just hard work. Today is one of those days.¬†Just you and a rower. The goal is to row that first 1000 meters as fast as you can. We’ll talk about approach and a pacing strategy during the briefing. You’ll get 12:00 rest after the first effort and then you’ll go again. The goal of round 2 is to get as close to the time you completed round 1 in as possible.

Today is one of those days where you get exactly what you give. If you do this right, you will spend some time hunched over, or possibly on the floor, and you will want more than the 12:00 rest. This is what you want to be feeling today! It’s not sexy, it’s not fancy, but we do promise, it is effective!
