8 Week Nutrition Class.
Dear Evolve Athletes,
For the past year I have been taking some further education in nutrition and completed my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. As a first step on this adventure, I would like to offer an 8 week course, and put some of my new acquired knowledge to action.
It is important for me to mention that this is not a weight loss challenge – there are plenty of those out there already! Although these short-term diet restrictions can be efficient ways to shed a few pounds, it is often the real challenge to figure out what to do when you are not on a “diet”!
I don’t have the magic pill, because it does not exist, but I do know the secret to getting where you want to be – consistency! But that is easier said than done, and only with some realistic, sustainable habits, can you stay consistent! This is where I can help! So if you are interested in learning about healthy sustainable nutrition and how to implement good, lasting nutritional habits – this 8 week course is for you! Each week we will meet and take up a nutritional topic, implement a new task, do check-ins with food logs and body measurements, and improve both overall health and performance. We will start with the basics, enforcing good food sources, ensure an appropriate intake of vitamins, minerals, and water, and then move on to macronutrient split and timing.
I want to make sure that everyone has a good experience so the number of participants are limited to 6 spots. This will be an exclusive small group for Evolve members only – perfect timing to dial in your nutrition for The Open.
