The Terry Farrell Firefighter’s Ball
Hey Evolve Family! Every fall Colorado Chapter of The Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund holds its annual Firefighter Charity Ball to raise money to help Colorado firefighters and their families with various needs. This year the 6th Annual Charity Ball will be held on Saturday October 7 from 6pm – midnight at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The last few years we’ve had a huge showing from the Evolve community and we would love to see that again this year! The event is open to everyone, you do not have to be a firefighter! The tickets are $75 per person or get together with a group of 10 and buy a table for $700 ($70 per person). The night includes a silent and live auction, dinner, a pipe and drum band performance, dancing and FREE BEER. If you need a full night away then stay the night at the Embassy Suites, mention the Firefighter Ball and you will get a discounted rate on your hotel room. To buy tickets go to the the 2017 Registration Site and get signed up! Your registration is a tax deductible donation!
For a little more about the Fund read on:
The Terry Farrell Firefighter fund is a firefighter charity that was established after the World Trade Center attacks on 9-11. Our namesake was killed in that attack while serving for the FDNY on Rescue 4. Since that time our founder, Brian Farrell, has worked diligently to create a charity that supports firefighters and their families with educational, medical, and equipment needs. We are a national organization and now have active chapters in New York, California, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, Alabama, Delaware, Ohio, Nevada and Colorado. We operate solely on a volunteer basis using predominantly firefighters with some help from friends of the fund.
All of the money that we raise as a Colorado chapter stays in Colorado to help the firefighters who serve our communities. This donation might be applied to a firefighter who was killed or injured in the line of duty, a firefighter family member who has an ambition to get a college education, or the fund might provide some much needed resources for a small volunteer department with no money for training or equipment.
So if you need a good excuse to get fancy, have a date night or just a crazy girls or guys night out please come to help raise money for a great cause!
