1RM Hang Squat Clean!!
Yay weightlifting! Today you get to lift heavy which is always fun! The goal for today is to find a 1 rep max of the hang squat clean. All working sets should be above 80% of the 1RM for the day. Sometimes we will hear from some folks that they feel that on days like today they’re not “doing enough”. Part of the issue here is not getting volume under load. How can you make that happen? Today you’ll have plenty of time to work up to your starting weight, which as stated above needs to be above 80%. It should take you at least 3-4 sets to get to that starting weight with small to moderate jumps. One you get to that first rep it should feel challenging. Continue making jumps and hit a new 1RM for the day!
