Good Luck Evolve Crew!
This weekend is our favorite Colorado CrossFit comp, the Turkey Challenge. For the first time we’re leaving the hangar of MBS CrossFit and the event will be held indoors at the Unser Karting and Events Facility in Denver. For those who have been an athlete or part of the cheering section in years past, you know that without fail it will be cold out (anyone remember burpees and overhead squats in snow last year?) so moving it inside is going to be a new experience for many of us!
We have a bunch of Evolve athletes competing. Good luck friends: JoLynn, Anthony, Murph, Kaelin (Team 4 Balls and 7 Kidneys), Stine, Tayler, Bailey, Hoff, Jake, John B, Connor, and Tito (yep we still claim him). Get after it you guys. There are aslo several of you guys heading down to volunteer. We don’t have a full list and don’t want to leave anyone out, so we’ll just say THANK YOU! And of course Dave Dunn, who always volunteers his time for the event. He kind of has to since his daughter Janelle owns MBS, but this guy works his tail off the whole weekend when we just have to do a couple of workouts. Thanks for making this happen every year Dave!
More info on the comp can be found on the Turkey Challenge Website if you’re planning to head down or want to keep track of the action online!
