Bench Press Logistics
Todays WOD is a beauty. Bench pressing and running. Perfect. We placed this workout on a Friday because typically attendance is a little lighter. Reason being is that benches are at a premium. However, we still feel the need to occasionally program the bench press as part of a conditioning workout rather than visiting it only as a strength movement. So, today the approach will be a little different. You’ll have to share. But sharing is good and sharing is nice, and you’re all nice so it shouldn’t be a problem! There will be weights that need to be changed. If you rack the bar, you have to get off a let someone else accumulate some reps. If there needs to be a weight change, make it happen. Things will spread out and it won’t be a huge deal, but we wanted to put it out there for you guys.
If you have a bunch of heartburn about your time because there are a few people per bench, then you should run your 400s really, really hard! Have fun in there today, this will be a good one!
