Not sure if you caught the new Nike “Snow Day” commercial. There are some pretty big names in this commercial, many of them from the NFL: Rob Gronkowski, Ndamukong Suh, Odell Beckham Jr., Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, A.J. Green, Marcus Mariota, LeSean McCoy, Ben Roethlisberger. These players would stack any fantasy football roster. But there was another face in the crowd that stood out. Did you recognize her? It’s Lauren Fisher, CrossFit Games athlete from CrossFit Invictus. To me this says a lot about where CrossFit is as a sport, and where it’s going. Pretty amazing!

He’s gonna hate me for this – but – I want to publicly thank Coach Jon for taking time out of his day to drive down to support and coach me thru my meet. Hours he spent at Evolve coaching me and I really couldn’t have done it without him (I was shaking like a leaf). It’s not really a surprise to the Evolve family about the care all the coaches put into their athletes. That’s why CF Evolve is more than just place to workout! Coaches don’t do it for the praise, but they deserve all the credit. Thanks again my friend. Now on to the next meet and I know you’ll be there for that one too.
