As you guys know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and that means it’s time for our Amazing Grace workout. We’ve supported Barbells for Boobs every year. Breast cancer is very real, and almost all of us have been impacted by it, whether through friends or family or even our athletes. What started up as a grassroots event held each October has turned into a massive, year-long fundraising effort with multiple events. That’s great for the charity and raising money, but as many of you experienced last year, the logistics to sign up and participate have become cumbersome and it put many of you off last year.
This year we’ll be hosting Grace on Saturday October 25th at 9am for our Saturday WOD. This year we recommend that if you’d like to donate to the charity, you can purchase a shirt directly from Barbells for Boobs here. It’s easy and quick. If you want so set up a fundraising page and go that route, feel free. You can set that up here, However, this is not required to participate. If you choose to create a fundraising page, please be sure to select CrossFit Evolve as your team!
If you can’t make the 9am WOD, our friends at CrossFit Endure in Windsor are hosting an event that starts at 10am that you’re invited to. This is a great way to raise money, raise awareness, and be a part of a great workout. We hope to see you there!
