This is Event 9 of the CrossFit Team Series. Here’s the info:
Only one athlete will be working at a time, and teammates must rotate through in the same order for the entire event, following the order: male 1, female 1, male 2, female 2, male 1, female 1, etc (for today teams can be any mix of folks, it doesn’t have to be 2 guys and 2 girls).
At the call of “3-2-1 … go!” the first athlete will perform 9 burpee box jumps, then 9 squat cleans, then tag the second athlete who may then begin working. Once the fourth athlete has completed their round of 9s, they will tag the first athlete who will then begin their second round, this time performing 12 reps of each exercise. The team’s score is the total reps completed within the 20 minutes.
Weights are as follows:
RX: 155#/105#, everyone uses 20″ box
Masters: 135#/95#, everyone uses 20″ box
Scaled: 115#/75#, everyone uses 20″ box
Of course, you may scale down from there as needed!
