WOD

[rs-divider type=”solid” brd_width=”1″ brd_color=”#636363″/]

Complete for time:

100 Burpees

Every minute on the minute complete:

3 Power Cleans, 185#/125#

Time cap: 12:00

For today’s WOD, you should be able to do touch-and-go reps of the 3 with the weight you choose. If you choose a load that you have to do singles of right from the get go, it’s too heavy. Push yourself with the load, but choose something that will allow you to finish within the time cap.

Bethany getting some time on the ring rows!

With the help of the Saturday Team WOD crew, we did a little rearranging of equipment in the gym. There are some pics below, but here’s a run-down:

The boxes have been moved to the west wall in front of the roll-up doors. This gets them away from the kids area to avoid the temptation to climb them, and it gets them closer to the pull-up rigs so those of you who like to use them to reach the bar don’t have to carry “the coffins” (as I was told some refer to those big things) across the gym. We put the boxes without handles on the bottom so they’re easier to move.

The bar rack and the change plate trees have been moved by the platforms. This opens up that last platform a little more and gets the change weights in the open.

The rowers have been moved in front of the south roll-up door. They’re still easily accessible for those who like to warm-up with them. We might revisit that once it warms up and we keep that door open.

One thing we’ve found when we move things is that folks are so used to their original home, the equipment that’s been moved tends to find it’s way back to it’s old home. For now we’d like to keep things where they are. If you feel like it’s jacking up the feng shui, let us know!
