The 2007 CrossFit Games Event 1 was “The Hopper WOD”. A bunch of balls with movements on them were put into a hopper and a few were picked to determine the WOD. It was a game of chance!
Today we’ll do a team variation of this (thanks for the idea Kendra and Trish!). When you get to the gym today you’ll get an index card. On it you’ll put the movement you want to do. Each athlete can only submit one movement, so pick wisely. You can also specify a weight if it’s a barbell movement. This will be a 3 part WOD with a brief rest in between each portion. Part 1 will have 5 movements, Part 2 will have 4 movements, and Part 3 will have 3 movements. Today the athletes choose what we do! Once the movements are decided the coaches will put together a rep scheme.
Don’t forget that after the WOD, we’ll head over to Black Bottle Brewing to say farewell to Movember!
