We have a pretty busy week at the gym with things outside of our regular WODs! Here’s a quick run down of them. Of course you new this stuff was coming up because you’re checking the handy calendar to your left.
Tonight @ 7pm – Oly Night. We lift weights. We talk trash. We laugh. We listen to ganster rap. What could be more fun? I guess if someone brought beer, that would be pretty fun too.
Wednesday @ 7pm – Competitors Talk. Many of you have either completed or will complete your first competition this year. Some of you want to try for one next year. There are some things to consider to allow you to be as prepared as possible for a competition, whether you’re doing it for fun or have the goal of standing on the podium. We’ll talk about some of these things tonight. Come check it out and see what we have to say!
Thursday @ 7pm – Poudre Fire Recruiting Talk. You hear those of us who are lucky enough to be employed as firefighters talk about how much we love our jobs. It’s true, it’s the best job in the world. Poudre Fire Authority is ramping up their next hiring process. The Recruiting Committee asked if they could come to Evolve and talk with some of you who might be interested in becoming a firefighter. Come hear what they have to say and see if this might be something for you!
