In teams of 2 complete 3 rounds for time of:

25 Tire Sledge (each partner takes 25 swings)

50 Box over jumps, 24″/20# (cumulative for the team)

75 Ball slams, 40#/30# (cumulative for the team)

1 Partner carry (each partner has to carry the other)

1 Rope climb (each partner has to do a rope climb)

From the mind of Jeff, here’s Donkey Kong. Inspired by the Kink Kong WOD done at open gym on Friday, he came up with this. Turns out Jeff is a pretty big fan of Donkey Kong and each movement relates to the game. Tire sledges are like the hammer, box over jumps are like jumping over the barrels, ball slams are like when he throws rocks, and the partner carry is like when he carries the Princess, and of course rope climbs are like climbing up a vine.

Sometimes you have no choice but to be impressed by our coach’s creativity and the level of knowledge of video games.
