We had 15 folks show up for the competitor talk on Wednesday night, thank you guys for coming! It was really cool to have the discussions we did. One of the things that came up was tailoring your nutrition for your goals. The CrossFitter who wants to put on some weight will fuel differently than one who wants to loose body fat. We want it to be clean regardless, but there are some specific things that should be addressed depending on what you’re after. As the discussion on fueling for performance, specifically if you’re hitting multiple WODs in a day or you’re in a heavy volume phase, the video below was brought up. This is John Welborn of CrossFit Football fame, and he discusses nutrition from a different perspective. Several folks there had missed this when we posted it a few months back, so here it is again.
