Death by Handstand Push-up
This will be capped at 10:00, regardless if you can continue. If you're proficient at strict and kipping, start out strict and see how far you can get. Go to kipping when needed. If 10 minutes strict is no problem, go to a deficit.

Some of you may recognize the handsome fellas in the pic above (along with our own Suzie T!). For those who had any doubt, not only is flannel back in, it never really went out. The really good lookin ones are Billy and Breyen from Strength Specific Seminars. These guys go around the country instructing on the finer points of the oly lifts. We had them out to Evolve last year and it was awesome so we were excited to get the opportunity to do it again. Well now their trip is booked and we're psyched!
On Saturday May 25th, they'll be giving the Bronze Seminar. This is the one for you if you want to improve your lifts:
- A full day of instruction breaking down and simplifying the complex theory of snatch and clean and jerk
- Discussion of programming tips
- Three e-mail submission codes for individualized video coaching
- Follow up discussion on the finer points of the lifts with Strength Specific Seminars coaches
- One Strength Specific Seminars t-shirt
- Personalized Bronze Level certificate
- Cost is $250
On Sunday May 26th the Silver Level will go down. This is a higher level of instruction and has a slant towards coaching the lifts:
- Small group discussion on the finer points of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pull of each of the lifts
- Tips on how to program assistance exercises for individual athletes
- Coaching exercises for coaches and personalized exercises for competitive athletes
- Written exam and explanation of questions and their correct answers
- Personalized Silver Level certificate
- Cost is $350
If you're interested in either or both of these seminars, please head over to the Strength Specific Seminars Registration Page and select the one you want to attend. If you have any other questions, please hit up me or Gino!
You have not seen flannel until you go to dallas tx! Wish I could post a pic here, but you are right, flannel is not out of stiyle!
