As we approach the Open you're going to notice a little change in our programming. We're going to start to reduce the volume of strength work that we do, and the majority of the WODs we'll be seeing are going to be from the mainsite. Reason being, in the past those WODs complimented the Open workouts pretty well and we expect to see the same this year. It's always tough to program when you don't know what the WOD we're doing on Thursday is until Wednesday night. So for now, we'll give it a try and see how it goes!
WIth the strength work dialing back a bit, you're going to see more oportunities for skill-focused work. This is great for the newer folks because they'll be getting some instruction outside of the WOD, and for the seasoned folks, this will be an opportunity to get some focussed work in. For example, today the skill will be kipping. For folks who are still trying to get the kip dialed in, we'll do some specific work for you. For those who are as comfortable kipping as walking, you'll perform 3 sets of unbroken pull-ups with a focus on making each rep perfect.
