For this WOD, you'll do 1 HSPU, 10 pull-ups, 2 HSPU, 9 pull-ups, 3 HSPU, 8 pull-ups, etc. For both the HSPU and PUs, do strict reps as long as possible.
Dogs are awesome, I have two of my own and yes, they are my babies. Everyone likes to see the dogs that visit us at Evolve, but unfortunately as we've grown and things have gotten busier, having dogs in the gym has created some issues. A few weeks ago there were 4 dogs in the gym in the afternoon, along with 2 mostly full WODs and a handful of kids. This obviously creates concern in terms of safety, both for the dogs and the kids. Another issue is that having furry friends visit makes our cleaning process harder. As you can see from the picture above, the majority of the stuff we pick up when we clean is dog related. Now some could argue that my back hair is an accomplice to this mess, however that has yet to be proven with any solid facts (editor's note: Gino wrote this and he's refering to his own back hair. Just to be clear!). With the gym getting busier trying to keep the place clean for you all is getting harder and harder, and most folks don't like to get on the floor when it is covered with dog hair.
With that, you are still welcome to bring your dogs to the gym, but they need to remain outside, and no dogs will be allowed inside for any reason. Starting next week this will be our approach to animals of the 4 legged type at Evolve. Please contact Jon or Gene with any questions.
