The video below was shot almost exactly one year ago during the 2010 12 Days of Christmas WOD. When you look at the folks who were in that video and see the loads they were using or the movements they were scaling, it's amazing how far they've come in a year.

I was talking to Todd about it and he brought up a great point. Some days you come in to hit a WOD, and things go really good. Some days you come in, and you feel like you could have or should have done better. What Todd said that really struck me, is that when he saw that video, he realized that sometimes it's more telling to think about the big picture, and that although some days you perform better than others, it's really impressive when instead of looking WOD to WOD, you take a step back and realize how much you've improved since the beginning. True!

  1. Hey guys! Enjoy the weather, we’re creeovd in ice and 30-40mph winds in Ohio.Wish I was there doing Murph. One of my fav crossfit wods, PR time of around 32mins. This past summer, Pete and I used 20lb vests to do as Rx. Increased my time to 50 mins!! 208 days!
