Do you like hockey? How about firefighters (I can hear the Evolve cops now!)? On November 5th the Colorado Eagles are playing a home game against the Onterio Reign at 7:05 pm. $5 of the $20 ticket cost goes to the Colorado Chapter of the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund which is a great charity that helps firefighters and their families when tragedy strikes. Our own Kevin H. and DHampton sit on the board of this fund, so it has ties to CF Evolve.
In addition, if 200 tickets are sold there will be a Police vs. Fire hockey game with free admission at 1 PM. Carl has played for the cops in years past, and Kevin, JB, and Matty V have played for the firefighters. There was a fight during last year's match-up (go figure) so who knows what might happen this year!
If you're interested in going to the game, call Curtis at the Colorado Eagles at 970-686-7468 and mention "Firefighters" or "Terry Farrell". Cost is $20 a seat with $5 going back to the Terry Farrell Fund. The cutoff date for all the purchased tickets to be in the same section is October 22nd.
