How do you know that your training is working? Have you ever spoken to folks who asked about CrossFit and if it really works? They probably have a pretty good idea that it works because they've seen changes in your physique and in your attitude, and that certainly is important. After all, who doesn't want to look good in the summertime! There's another important aspect. It has to do with that PR board, your log books, and benchmark WODs. CrossFit is "evidence-based". In other words, your fitness is measureable (we time, we record load, we record reps and rounds), observable (we can actually see it), and it's repeateable (by having you do Kelly or any other benchmark WOD a couple of times a year, we can repeat the task with accuracy).

We tell you guys often that it's tough to PR everytime you touch a bar, or on every benchmark WOD for that matter. However, over time we should see an overall increase in your fitness. If you're not getting fitter, stronger, and faster, we're not doing our job. So today on Kelly, check out your time the last time you did it and crush that time today!
