As most of you had heard before you left the box Saturday, CrossFit HQ has extended WOD 11.1 for another week. There won't be a WOD released this Tuesday – WOD 11.2 will be released on Tuesday March 29th. What's unknown at this time is if this means the Open will be extended for a week, making it 7 weeks long, or if there might be 2 WODs released on one Tuesday, keeping it at the original 6 weeks. When we find out we'll let you know.
What does this mean for us? We spoke at length about how to conduct the Open WODs at Evolve and decided in the spirit of competition and sportsmanship, you'd get one shot at the weekly WOD and what you got was what you got. We wouldn't be doing the WOD 2 or 3 times a week trying to improve score. However, with the change in format by HQ and with no new WOD to perform on Saturday, we've decided to take a Mulligan. We'll be throwing down WOD 11.1 again on Saturday. If you want that second chance, you've got it. If you want to let your score stand, that's totally fine as well. It's up to you.
It will go down the same way as last Saturday. We'll still need all the help we can get so if you're interested in judging again let us know! We've never done the same WOD 7 days apart before. We're excited to see if having the experience behind you and knowing what to expect will improve your scores. Keep practicing those double-unders!
As a reminder, please log into your games account and submit your scores from Saturday. If you peform the WOD again on Saturday and improve you score, you will submit that score and your account will be updated. Let us know if you have any questions!
