3 x 12

Since this will be the first time with this movement for many of you, we will mess around with little load using bars, dumbells, and kettlebells. Once comfortable we'll bring the load up and perform the 3 x 12. Today will be as much skill as strength.


4 rounds for time of:

1:00 Sumo Deadlift High Pull, 95#/65#

1:00 Lateral Jumping Burpees

1:00 Sit-ups

1:00 Rest

The 10am Kettlebell Crew!

You may have noticed on MindBody that the size of the 6 AM and 4:30 PM WODs has been bumped to 12. This is a trial for both your coaches and you guys. These WODs have the highest demand by far, and often times folks are on the waitlist. As you know we've been bumping folks in from the waitlist on some days, but typically enough folks drop that the waitlisters get in no problem. We want to see if these WODs continue to be at full capacity even with the extra spots, and we also want to evaluate coaching 12 folks on a regular basis. If it seems to work for you guys (you're still getting all the attention you want and deserve) and is seems to work for us (we're not spread too thin as coaches) we will consider upping the other WODs as well. As always, we appreciate your input. Let us know how it works for you!

  1. Yeah Jim, it will be like the standing shoulder press you’ve done, only we’ll be sitting on a bench with no back support. Tell our friends down in Lakewood we say hello!
