As I came home Sunday night Tyson and Jill pulled up to the house and told me that many of you had chipped in to get Gino and I and our wives some gift cards to have a night out (Melting Pot, Zquilla, and movie tickets!!!). I'm speechless, and you all know that for me that doesn't happen very often! We're overwhelmed that you guys would do that for us and there aren't enough words to say thank you. The note Tyson and Jill gave us mentioned that we've had to sacrifice family time for this endeavor, especially with the build-out of the new space. Well, the way we see it, our family has grown a lot bigger over the last 9 months and we get to spend time with them at the box every day. And without the help of all the coaches, their families, and all of you athletes who helped during the move, it went faster than we could have imagined. Thank you for that!
What's happened in our box has been a great journey for us, our families, and hopefully for you as well. We do this because we believe in it, it changed our lives, and we want to share it with as many people as we can. This great first year of Evolve has been possible because of YOU! Because you all took a chance on us to see what could happen. You guys, the athletes, built this place.
We're humbled by you, and we can't thank you enough!

The MOST AWESOME thing about this WOD is the WALL BALLs….man, I LOVE those things…pure excitement..wonder if I will sleep tonight….?

That was a very pleasant surprise! We thank you all for your generosity and thoughtfulness. Gene and Jon had the vision and you all have made Evolve what it is. It’s been a lot of fun to see their dream of a CrossFit box become a reality and the changes it’s making in so many peoples lives.

This was such a surprise!! Thank you all for being so kind and thinking of us in this way. When Jon first told me Gene and him wanted to open a Crossfit gym, I thought it was great that they could share what they love with other people. I could have never imagined it would have been this great only after 9 months and we would have such wonderful people to call family. Jon is an amazing person, husband and dad and now an amazing coach to the athletes at Evolve. Thanks again but it is all of YOU that make EVOLVE what it is. You guys are the best!
This is the purest example of “what comes around goes around”. Spread good karma and be the change you want in the world (Gandhi). I can’t imagine being able to give half of what Jon, Gene, and your families give on top of your regular jobs…true inspiration!!!
