The way to bring more strength to the CrossFit approach is with the CrossFit Total. The CrossFit Total is the sum of the best of three attempts at the squat, the press, and the deadlift, the three most effective lifts in existence for developing and testing functional strength.

  1. Great job to everyone on the strength day. I was great to watch you all push yourselves and lift some amazing weight. I loved it when someone got a PR or lifted a weight that they previously failed on and how infectious it was in the gym, and how it motivated the whole room. That’s what it’s about!
